John W Carlson wants you to check out a photo on MySpace in the The Red Bull Gripped Canvas Show album

John W. Carlson was happy to find out that he had placed in the great Pop Shop / Red Bull Gripped Canvas skate deck show  (Sept. 12 - 26) with his entry. Humor starts here, since John was in Chicago for his solo show there the week of the Gripped Canvas events he was unable to attend -  he never knew anything about it more than that he had painted a deck and hoped to win. When he stopped in to say "hi" to the gang this week, they told him he took 2nd place... Cool, but when creating this post, John noted a few others saying they took 2nd... so who really knows! No biggie, the images here show John's entry. Congrats to all the winners.

“They gave us 60 decks to give to Cleveland artists, and they’re building a panel of three judges, including Derek Hess, to choose 30 that will be included in the show,” Rich Cihlar, Pop Shop Owner.
